r3bEL Bioprinter and Enochs High School Featured on CBS Sac. and The Modesto Bee
SE3D, a company leading innovation in bioscience education and technology, was recently featured on CBS Sacramento and The Modesto Bee to showcase a partnership with the James C. Enochs High School Forensic Biotechnology Program, a California Department of Education Career Pathway Academy.
Enochs High School Forensics teacher Dave Menshew is excited to incorporate the r3bEL bioprinter’s extensive capabilities into their biotechnology program. "Enochs biotech students can look forward to working with biomolecules to conduct investigations including enzymatic reactions, algae growth studies, and tissue construction.” One of the very first exercises that Enochs students will be conducting is the printing of an ear model.
SE3D CEO Dr. Mayasari Lim will be working with the students and staff of the Enochs biotechnology program to develop forensic lessons with the r3bEL bioprinter.
SE3D is an EdTech startup, funded by the National Science Foundation, specializing in science education courseware and desktop 3D bioprinters for K9-14. Our unique curriculum and equipment is designed to prepare and propel the next generation of biomedical scientists, engineers and innovators.
