SE3D ANNOUNCES RESEARCH EXPERIENCE FOR TEACHERS (RET) OPPORTUNITY
Santa Clara, CA, March 6, 2018 – SE3D, a company leading innovation in bioprinting education and technology, announced today that there is a unique opportunity for two high school teachers or community college faculty to become a RET fellow and collaborate with SE3D. The Research Experiences for Teachers (RET): Supplementary Opportunity is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the purpose of the RET activities is to facilitate professional development of K-12 and community college science teachers through research experience at the cutting edge of science. This supplementary program seeks to expand teacher participation in both disciplinary and interdisciplinary research.
This program will provide teachers with the opportunity to gain hands-on training in bioprinting technology, externship experience, and new skills and knowledge in conducting cutting-edge research. Teacher fellows selected for this program will be awarded $5,000 each and receive an opportunity to participate in our summer training. For more details about this program and to apply, click here.
